Keyboard Warrior is a Guitar Hero-style rhythm typing game about online trash talk. Watch the phrase above the lane, then hit each falling letter as it is pronounced. Hold sustained letters, build a streak, and finish the randomized fifteen-clip mix without getting cooked.

HOW TO PLAY

Read the text above the lane. Press the matching QWERTY keys when the letters reach the type line, and keep holding keys through sustained sounds. For multiplayer, create a lobby and send the code to a friend, or enter ranked matchmaking.

ONLINE & PURCHASES

An internet connection and Keyboard Warrior account are required. The game is free to play. Optional one-time digital cosmetics are sold through secure Stripe Checkout: Bandana and Gold Chain are $0.99 USD each; Crown is $3.00 USD. Cosmetics do not affect competitive gameplay.

Made with no engine because of being based.

Please note that this project uses some AI code which has been hand-edited to fit purposes I currently believe to be beyond AI capability, such as multiplayer backend, itch API, and the timing of the keys being synced to audio files, essentially the only AI generated content on this page is the css styling, which also had to be hand-edited because my AI assistant could not make the gifs change correctly.
